So I log on to fb and twitter yesterday afternoon to see DJ’s, selectors, artists, fans in major rants and twitter beefs about “The State of Dancehall”.
Bounty Killa and Vybz Kartel were ‘bakkled’
It is equivalent to saying “JESUS WEPT” in the holy grail of everything Jamaican music.
Because now, its hit home that the two dancehall dons are not immune to the infamous Jamaican show of “f#*k off, we nuh rate yuh p#$$y” (a rain of empty bottles pelted to the performer on the stage) everybody is mourning the fun and passion that was dancehall.
Nah Lie, this reminds me of Jamaican politics circa 1970′s 80′s. How the politicians created the gunman and garrison phenomenon and now they cant control it, it controls them.
See the two video below:
– Killa stand tall still, the drummer was like “deuces” from early out DWL
-Still waiting for a better Kartel video but the actual time him get on the stage to the time him run off is like 0.5% of the video clip
