Art in Jamaica: Kemar Swaby

KEMAR SWABY’s is a visual communications graduate from Edna Manley School of the Arts in Jamaica. His exhibition, KARMA VIPAKA, showcases how different generations may view political and social spheres of life. Kemar seemed to be one of the standout artists from the open house as other friends who visited the college noted that I had to check him out. And no doubt, before even getting to his exhibition the KARMA VIPAKA tag (in the form of stenciled spray paints, stickers and metalwork) could be seen all across the Edna campus.
