Pork truck shuts up after one-woman protest in Bristol city centre
This is Bristol. A lone protester in the middle of town opposing a huge, mysterious, pink truck that appeared in Broadmead one early morning, as I was on my way to the radio station. On my way home that afternoon, I learned, from an animal-rights activist called Melanie, that the truck was a part of a marketing rollout for a company selling pork. She explained to me why she staged what looked like a one-person protest.
